I really want to kill the duck

That orange thing I am staring at is a duck, I really want to smack it hard but I just can't connect with it. I only seem to be able to hit it accidentally when I am not watching and it gives me a real fright. I talk to the silly thing for hours and it doesn't talk back. I must kill the duck!
